Description[edit]
- Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog is a cartoon series that is treated with some affection by the YTP community, with particular emphasis being given to the antagonist, Dr. Robotnik. It was a light-hearted comedy show with exaggerated animation that revolved around Sonic the Hedgehog and Tails as they lived their daily lives exploring their home planet of Mobius, thwarting the evil schemes of Robotnik and his bumbling henchman along the way. However, certain parts of this show (Lovesick Sonic and its Sonic Sez, S.S.S.S.S. Squad, PINGAS, and some others) quickly became worn out.
- Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog was mostly a USA/Canada production, though animation was produced in Korea, Taiwan, and Japan.

The Untouchable Episodes[edit]
- The "Untouchable Episodes" were once 11 episodes that Chuck, (and not really) Wiki, and BMATF refused to upload to prevent AIDS despite "Quest of the Chaos Emeralds" already being uploaded. The UE died after Steg uploaded Hero of the Year to KingStegblob, and Wiki, BMATF, and Chuck announced that the UE idea was dead. It probably helped that the popularity of AoSTH (bar the PINGAS meme) declined thanks to most of the major poopers choosing to focus on different material as well as the death of AIDS.
Sonic Sez[edit]
- 32/65 Sonic Sez segments can be found on Stegblob's alternate account, KingStegBlob. Some were uploaded by BMATF which included the ones that Steg didn't do. (A link to this account can be found at the bottom of this page.)
- YTStaff ComeAtMe is currently in the process of uploading the Sonic Sez segments BMATF and Steg didn't upload.
Usage History[edit]
AoStH is, to put it lightly... an enormously popular source. The first one ever created was "Robotnik's Sodomy Fest of 2005"(2005) by SuperYoshi and RetroJape, and the first YTPs ever uploaded to Youtube contained usage of AoStH as a major feature, starting with "Sonic and Robotnik's Sodomy hour!"(2006) by SuperYoshi, a video that played a major role in expanding the early visibility of YTP. RetroJape also made several solo YTPs of Robotnik and 1upclock was another founder who had a big hand in expanding its usage. Even when CD-i was first introduced into the world of YTP, Robotnik could be seen right alongside it in one the very first videos to use it, 1upclock's "Phillips Phrightphest"(2006). When 2007 came around, other figures has entered into to YTP perhaps deliberately inspired by these videos including dvariano, BMATF, Stegblob, UncleChuckTH and Wikiwow, all of whom would prove to be foundationally seminal to the establishment of Robotnik YTP as a prominant subgenre of the form. This signaled the start of what could be called the The Robotnik Golden Age, particularly when PINGAS first entered into the YTP lexicon through Stegblob's "Robotnik Has a Viagra Overdose"(2007).
The foothold of AoStH was further cemented by MrSimon/electricthecheese's "ROBOTNIK WANTS KFC"(2007), McMaNGOS' "THIS VIDEO CONTAINS WIN"(2008) and its legion of subsequent responses, and iguilamam's YTPMVs "Tomorrow I'll"(2008), "Robotnik's Tea Party"(2008) and "Planet Freedom"(2008). Robotnik hit a critical high point in 2008-2009, during which time arose prominent and popular figures such as Boogidyboo, sonic729, Squirrelous, TimAJH and MeiAIDS on the strength of its usage. BMATF also organized THE ROBOTNIK COLLAB: A VIDEO OF WICKEDNESS in 2009, which saw many of these names and more come together in mutual celebration and humorous idolization of the World's Sexiest Fat Man. When much of these names disappeared and or retired, newer names such as TheChairman45, LieutenentGwo, pilli10 and PresidentOfJelybeans rose up in their place, figures that would come to define the trends of the form during 2010-2011, some of the older originals still sticking around to contribute as well. BMATF organized The Robotnik Collab II in 2010, which stands as a reflection of the state of the subgenre around this time.
Following this period Robotnik entered into a visible state of decline, with the Robotnik Golden Age considered to have ended by the time of BMATF and dew's "THE ROBOTNIK COLLAB III: REVENGE OF THE SONIC"(2012), voted by the YouChew community as the best YTP Collaboration of the 2010s and at the time the longest collab ever organized. Newer names such as Superchops, theFXexpert, Nineroe and iteachvader had appeared to give the form some new blood, but it was becoming clear that overall attention and sensibilities were shifting away from AoStH out of concern that every episode of the series had been this point been edited to death, with little more to extract from the material. This has not dissuaded Robotnik from still holding something of its cult appeal however into the present day, with Stegblob in particular still having made Robotnik YTPs as late as 2019.

Further Information[edit]
- There was a debate about it being AIDS or not. Despite the fact there's over an entire day's worth of poopable material, there were users who were getting quite tired of it and its frequent appearances. However, popularity of AoSTH as a source has diminished as of late.
- A joke found in poops with just the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog involve the ending having a "Sonic Sez" of some random thing, followed by the credits having different music than usual.
- There are some rumors about an incredibly scary and inappropriate 66th episode of the series that was aired in northern Virginia due to a mistake or something. It had a YCP thread based off of it. However, it's pretty much some bollocks creepypasta. 4chan would be so proud.
