Momma Robotnik is a cranky, old hag who appears in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog as Dr. Robotnik's mother. She is kept in the Mobius Home For Really Bizarre Moms, which is really just a fancy name for a mental asylum, and constantly escapes to torment Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. She hates how Robotnik is such a failure, and wishes he could be more like his relatives.

Her Hatred For Her Son

Her hatred for his own son began when Robotnik was at an early age. He made his first invention when he was five - when people start inventing stuff what they were five years old, they should be proud of them - but she ended up thinking it was shit and she smashed it in to a million pieces. Robotnik was obviously saddened by this, but he thought that if he invented more advanced stuff, he'd be able to earn her love. However, with each invention, she became more and more pissed off with his shit. By his late-teen years, she kicked him out of her house, thus proving that he wouldn't ever get her love. However, it would end up working to his advantage. And that's why we love Dr. Robotnik today.
