The New York flag.

New York is one of the thirteen colonial states of the United States of America. It is the third-most populated state of the U.S.A., right behind California and Texass Texas respectively. The main reason why they have a really populated state is because of the city named New York City. Original, isn't it? Anyways, there have been many people who have been confirmed to live in New York, and some actually live specifically in Brooklyn.

They have have a lot of sports teams for people to root for, but not as much as California or Texas. They range from great; such as the New York Bankees Yankees, to average; such as the New York Jets and New York Islanders, to poor; such as the New York Mets and the New York Knick(erboxer)s. They've also had many, many other teams in the past for different sports, but those teams aren't allowed to be talked here, so yeah.

The ever-so famous interlacing "NY" that's used on the Yankees. You know you've seen some iteration of it before, even if you've never seen a sports game in your lifetime! It's that popular.
  • The New York Yankees have won the most championships out of any teams for any professional sport with 27 titles.
    • When the Philadelphia Phillies lost to the New York Yankees for Game 6 of the 2009 World Series, Mr. Sandman went and destroyed 20 buildings because of that happening.
  • This is also the place where East Coast Rap was born from.
  • Nintendo World (formerly the Pokémon Center) is located here.
    • Niagara Falls is also partially located here (it's other partial home is in Toronto, Ontario, Canada), which is a really nice place.
  • Frollo once decided to burn down all of New York instead of Paris for some strange reason.
  • The Statue of Liberty was given to us by France.
  • There used to be two tall buildings, collectively called the World Trade Center. And then some Eurasian assholes destroyed it. Damn them all to Hell!
  • The Empire State Building is often climbed by King Kong, who then gets shot at by planes and falls to his death.
  • The Decepticons once tried to turn New York into "New Cybertron". They were soon thwarted by the Autobots. In that same attack, Devastator pulled a King Kong by climbing up the Empire State Building.
  • New York was also attacked by Godzilla and the Cloverfield monster. Jeez, what's with all these monsters and their constant fascination towards New York anyways?!
  • Hilary Clinton was a Senator from the state of New York before she was appointed to the office of Secretary of State.
  • They own the largest present in the entire world, which is the Statue of Liberty (was given to them by France during the late-1800's.)
  • The team of Mario, Luigi, and Princess Peach once played the Beastie Boys (native New Yorkers) in a park in New York. You decide how that game ended!
  • New York has they're own style of pizza. They're style of having it being wide, thin and foldable rivals the Chicago-style of pizza, which is a deep and stuffed style.
