Chicago is a popular city where many people live. Obviously, it is the capital of the state of Illinois. Contrary to popular belief, it is not the capital of Illinois; that would be Springfield, IL. It is home to many things, and some examples include Steve Urkel and the Nostalgia Critic.

- They are home to the team that
has beenwas cursed for over 100 years until 2016! That team is the Chicago Cubs. Their fans blame a fucking billy goat for their woes.- They also used to have another team that was cursed for over 80 years in the Chicago White Sox. Their curse supposedly started when eight members of the "Black Sox" ended up being banned forever by purposely blowing the World Series back in 1918, one of whom being considered one of the better players in baseball... and was shoeless.
- The pizza that this city is famous for is a deep-dish pizza. Chicagoans consider it to better than the pizza that comes from New York, though New Yorkers, as well as neighboring New Jersians and Pennsylvanians, deny this.
- ThatGuyWithTheGlasses' one year anniversary was filmed in Chicago.
- In the '90s, Michael Jordan was considered a God amongst Chicagoans.
- They originally planned to host the Olympics in 1904, but it was moved to St. Louis instead to coincide with the 1904 World's Fair.
- Similarly, Chicago was in competition for the 2016 Olympics, but lost to Rio De Janerio in Brazil.

- Various '80s movies took place in Chicago and the surrounding vicinity, ranging from the Blues Brothers to the Breakfast Club.
- In fact, most of John Hughes' movies took place in Chicago's suburbs (mainly in the fictional suburban town of Shermer, Illinois).
- Some people believe that Detroit is in Chicago.
- One famous landmark of Chicago is its L-train system, which, like New York, is dirty as hell and old.
- Chicago is also served by the RTA's Metra system, which is much larger and cleaner.
- North of Chicago is a US Navy base, believe it or not.
- The font used by many past Apple Macintosh systems (up to OS8) and by first generation iPods was called Chicago.
