This article is ranked as amongst the worst Chewiki has to offer, and is a perfect example of "what not to do". It is highly recommended that it be re-written...almost entirely. Please go here...now.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a sequel to Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. 64, and a predecessor to Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS. This game includes the Nintendo All Star characters. It is the first Super Smash Bros game to include third party options, Solid Snake from the Metal Gear series, and Sonic the Hedgehog. Several characters from the pervious title were cut, such as Roy and Mewtwo, who were replaced by other characters from their respective series.
This version of the game added the controversial mechanic of tripping. It also made a change to the way grabbing was used in the game, which was found to be a broken mechanic when used by some characters such as Marth or Meta Knight. Characters could grab almost as instantly as they let a character go, leading to chains of damage that the opponent couldn't do anything about. This problem was fixed in the Wii U version, but if Brawl is featured in a tournament, Meta Knight is usually banned due to this issue.
Brawl is also the only game to have a story mode which is told through the use of cutscenes in the Subspace Emissary. Due to the fact that many of these cutscenes were being uploaded to video sharing websites like youtube, the creators decided not to include them in further installments. They wanted the cutscenes to be a reward for a players progress, but by sharing those on the internet, they felt the effect was lost.
These cutscenes have been used by many in youtube poop.
