Morshu opened the Dinner Palace in 1967 as a place where people could get food whenever they "want it", serving anything they desired. Morshu was also the entertainer, often singing songs about how good other restaurents were, but the patrons often got confused and thought he was reffering to his own place. The restaurent was a success on it's opening day, attracting over 9,000 people, 2 of which were college seniors, The King and Duke Onkled. The King liked the place so much he ate there for dinner every day. In 1969 Morshu faced problems when Woodstock came around, being that he thought his restaurent was in the exact place where the stage was going to be, he was saved however when the then hippie Gwonam showed him "The Map" explaining his restaurent was miles away from the Woodstock gathering. As a token of gratitude Morshu gave Gwonam a coupon for a free magic carpet riding class which Gwonam became interested in magic and attended the University of Squadallah, their chant being "SQUADALLAH! WE'RE OFF". The restaurant boomed in the 1970's, with the King loving the place so much he paid for advertisments and TV spots, and even got the famous George the Baker to work with Morshu. Hyrulians came in droves, however Morshu lost a lot of money in 1980. Half of sales at the Dinner Palace were from the drive-thru and with the event of the second gas crisis, people didn't want to waste gas going through the drive-thru but refused to get food through the simple task of walking so they just stayed home and cooked food themselves. The first gas crisis in 1973 was not as big of a problem because the King funded a free gallon of gasoline for every drive-thru customer. He was not able to do this in 1979 because his ship did not return with the rubies to buy the gasoline until 1985. Business was slow in 1981 and Morshu closed down the place in 1982. With the rise of techno, many people wanted computerized things but Morshu feared a robot uprising and refused to modernize, his only customer until the closing was the King, Duke Onkled had left to be Duke of Gamelon in 1977. The King regretted not having the money to buy the restaurant and the only other person who was willing to buy it was Rick Astley which Morshu sold the restaurant to him for 200,000 Ruppees and 50 cans of lamp oil. Morshu moved to Koridi and became a small shop clerk. The King tried to eat at the new restaurant called "Rick's Rolls" but was furious at the fact that he would be Rick Rolled every time he ordered. The restaurent was shut down in 1987 when Rick made his one hit wonder. The restaurant is boarded up now and many people have forgotten it, many often confuse it with King Koopa's Coney Island Disco Palace. The King did get his shipment of rubies and planned to buy it from Rick, but the place was overrun with Ganon's minions shortly after Rick abandoned it and he didn't want to buy it anymore.

Destruction[edit]

In 1986, after sitting vacant for a year, the building was blown-up by Wolf O'Donnell, just for the sake of destruction. The '60s-era building was completely demolished. Wolf would later be arrested by the Philadelphia Police Department for arson and destruction of private property.Gwonam's Pizzeria (which used to be Squadallah Burger) was built on the site after the original building was demolished, though King Harkinian hates the place. However, he tends to go there anyway and reminisce the good old days.
