A sausage is a type of food that consists of ground-up meat by-products or actual quality meat (depending on the quality of the sausage), stuffed in to a casing (formerly the intestines of animals before cellulose casings). It is a popular food in Europe, especially in German-influenced countries like Germany or Austria, though they can be found all over the world.
They are not to be confused with penises, even if they look like them.
