Trivia[edit]

  • Steaks are a great source of nutrients, especially protein, without the fat that a burger has.
  • Steaks are commonly eaten for dinner, though some steaks are eaten with eggs for breakfast.
  • Do not put ketchup on your steak, as that is a great insult to the chef, as well as the cow that died for the beef itself.
  • The 2 most famous places for steak are the U.S. state of Texas and the city of Kobe, Hyogo prefecture, Japan.
  • Not to be confused with a steak dinner, which actually means something else, aside from the cases when it actually refers to a steak for dinner.
  • Chopped steak can be made in to a sandvich, or a cheesesteak when cheese and onions are added and placed on an Amoroso roll (which is a Philadelphia specialty).
    • However, do not order a cheesesteak with Swiss cheese, or you will look like an ass. *COUGH*John Kerry*COUGH*
  • A steakhead (also called a meathead) is someone who is physically very strong, but not particularly intelligent (example: Gaston).
