It is also a band that was born in the '70s that still exists as of today. KISS also once played at the Coney Island Disco Palace.

Who Is Kiss?!

Kiss involves four people who wear make-up and do rockin' stuff on stage. They went through many things in the past, but here are all the members.:

Current Members

  • Gene Simmons - "The Demon", as he's been called my many, is the most popular member from that band. He plays the bass guitar and he does the singing for the band. He did a few solo albums of his own. He's also able to do blood-spitting, fire-breathing, and even tounge-waggling during shows.
  • Paul Stanley - He's the other popular guy in this group. He does the back-up guitars and the back-up vocals for some of their songs, as well doing the back-up writing for their songs. Why is it that he always does back-up stuff? Anyways, he's usually in the shadow of Gene Simmons, but who isn't in Kiss? Also, he has a star in his left eye and he even did a solo album for once.
  • Tommy Thayer - He's the lead guitarist. He has silver stars on his eyes and he's usually refered to as "The Spaceman."
  • Eric Singer - "The Catman", as he's referred to, is the drummer. He's also currently the drummer for Alice Cooper. Other than that, nobody cares about him.

Former Members

  • Ace Frehley - He's an original member of Kiss. He was the original Spaceman and he played from their beginnings in 1973 until 1983, as well as from 1996 until 2002. He was the lead guitarist of the band, but he's now doing a solo career.
  • Peter Criss - He's also an original member of Kiss. He was the original Catman, and he played the drums from 1973 until 1980, as well as from 1996 until 2001 and from 2002 until 2004. According to Peter Griffin, no one wants to him, including his own self. He's also survived breast cancer.
  • Eric Carr (R.I.P.) - "The Fox", as he was usually referred to, was the former drummer of Kiss from 1980 up until his death in 1991. His death was due to heart cancer and that inadvertantly resulted in a temporary break-up of the band.
  • Bruce Kulick - He was the lead guitarist of Kiss from 1984 until 1996. He never wore any make-up during his tenure. Nowadays, he's a member of the band "Grand Funk Railroad."
  • Vinnie Vincent - He was the lead guitarist of Kiss from 1982 until 1984. He got fired due to "unethical behaviour" and he was never seen again.
  • Mark St. John (R.I.P.) - He was the lead guitarist of Kiss during their "Animalize" time in 1984. His former job was being a guitar instructor and his only music video appearance in Kiss was in "Heaven's On Fire." He died in 2007 due to a cerebral hemorrhage, but nobody cared, so yeah.
