Description
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes is an awesome video game where Marvel and Capcom characters get together and beat each other up for no reason. Despite being called Marvel Vs. Capcom 2, it is the fourth official crossover featuring Capcom and Marvel characters (the past three were X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter, and Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes). It is often ridiculed for its imbalance, with characters like Psylocke, Magneto, Storm, Sentinel, Cable, Captain Commando and Strider Hiryu being ludicrously cheap, and others like Dan Hibiki, Roll, and Servbot insanely weak. Still, fans of the game have said that this only adds to the fun.

- As of April 20 (HAPPY 420, Y'ALL), 2010, Marvel and Capcom finally announced a Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 game. Yes! YES!!!
- Originally, the only characters revealed were Ryu, Wolverine, Iron Man, Morrigan Aensland, the Incredible Hulk, and Chris Redfield of Resident Evil. Soon though, other characters have also been confirmed such as Super-Skrull, Dr. Doom, Deadpool, Chun-Li, Viewtiful Joe, Amaterasu of Okami, Dante of Devil May Cry, Dormammu, Thor, Felicia, Captain America, Trish of Devil May Cry, Spider-Man, and Albert Wesker from Resident Evil. And there will be at least 30 characters there.
- However, Niitsuma, the game's director, has also confirmed many other characters will NOT be in the game. These include Gene, Phoenix Wright, Ghost Rider, the Fantastic Four and Demitri Maximoff. Why he took out these characters despite them being highly requested is anybody's guess, but let's just pray to god that some of them get in as DLC.
