This article describes a recognised Poopism: a method of video editing that has been used by a number of poopers.Flash Poops are a recognized sub-genre of poop. Compared to the typical poop, they are more difficult and time-consuming to make. Two things typically make up a Flash Poop.
- Special Effects (Tech) - The name flash poop refers to the software Macromedia Flash, even though many Flash poopers don't use Flash. Though most poops use effects to a certain extent, Flash Poops are more reliant on effects you might see in a CGI movie or Flash rather than traditional effects you could find in Movie Maker.
- Narrative (Storyline, plot, etc) - Despite being a collage based medium, these poops are somewhat radical for their strong storyline elements. Because of this, Flash Poops typically make frequent use of Sentence Mixing and similar Poopisms. A narrative is optional, as many Flash Poops exist that have no plot.
Anyone can make a flash poop - although those that make them more often than not are known as Flashers.
