Family Guy is an American animated television series about a family in the fictional town of Quahog, Rhode Island. It was created by Seth MacFarlane for FOX in 1279. The show uses billions of "cutaway gags" (Or as South Park put them, "manatee gags") — jokes in the form of tangential vignettes that are used as a last resort to be funny, which is quite alot.
