Deconfirmed Characters
However, Niitsuma, the game's director, has also confirmed many other characters will NOT be in the game. These include Gene from God Hand, Phoenix Wright, Mega Man X, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Doctor Strange, any further Darkstalkers characters, Silver Surfer, and Gambit (FFFFFFFF). Why he took out these characters despite them being highly requested is anybody's guess, (and for that matter why Capcom thought it would be a good idea to tell their fans they weren't going to make it) but let's just pray to god that some of them get in as DLC.
In the words of the Angry Video Game Nerd, "What a shitty ass load of goddamn bullfuck!"
Usage
It's not out yet. But when it is, it's guaranteed to be used.
Disliked by
- Anyone who likes the deconfirmed characters.
Further information
- It will be the first Marvel VS Capcom game to use a California voice cast, as opposed to the previous games which were recorded in Toronto.
- Because of this, many voice actors can reprise their roles from recent animated series and video games, like Josh Keaton as Spider-Man (The Spectacular Spider-Man), Steven Jay Blum as Wolverine (pretty much all recent X-Men media), Kyle Hebert as Ryu (Street Fighter 4), and more.
