In brief
CptnSmonge--though more informally called Smonge--is an average YTP'er, striving for what all true poopers strive for.
Though unremarkable at best, he has geared himself more towards focusing on the community alongside making stupid videos on the side.
His many and varied thoughts and opinions on poop change rapidly almost from month to month, if not week to week. Admittedly stubborn and rigidly inflexible early on, he has adapted to a more easygoing "poop however you want" attitude.
Friendly, helpful and compassionate to a point of naivety, Smonge has embraced a YTP and YCP lifestyle of dinner and pointless violence.
IRL he's 22, male (if you haven't figured that out), a cashier and a proud Hoosier who hopes to one day strike out on his own and make his place in this world.
History
Smonge started making YouTube Poops in august of 2010. He joined YouChew at around the same time, after being led to the site by Stuart K. Reilly. He quickly became known for spawning interesting discussions in the Poop Talk section and eventually became a janitor, one year after he joined the site.
He initially found YouTube Poop by searching for Tourettes Guy dubbed over cartoons. Though originally off-put by the term, "poop," he eventually began to branch out watching various kinds YTP's including but not limited to WMM/MSPaint/Flash types, general remixing, spadinner/meme/sound replacement, and heavy effects/visual poops.
When starting, he made five poops before uploading them. The original three--Presented in Sus, Mario Steps on a Mandline, and God Luigi Escapes from the Pit, are still on his channel. The fourth one, Crazy Eddy Sells His Horse, is deleted and irretrievable. The fifth one never was able to render properly in WMM, and after having to format his hard drive with no media to back up the contents onto other than CD's it was deemed unnecessary to preserve. Of his five starter poops, "Presented in Sus" remains his favorite to even today.
Pressurers
In March, 2011, Smonge was invited to the group channel Pressurers which was to serve as a platform for promoting new poopers' oft-unseen talents. He was dormant for a few months before uploading a few videos. It was in June (?) when the channel--as a joke--was changed to a graphic image of lolicon he called it quits, wanting nothing to do with being involved with what might have complicated into a volatile situation.
After Pressurers password was changed, he eventually came upon the new pass not even as a technical member. As of late November, he would like to consider himself a Pressurer once more, and dicks around in the account for fun.

- I'm borderline OCD with how my name's pronounced--it doesn't at all sound like sponge. It sounds like Smawnj.
- I'm pretty sure I started the revival in the interest of "classic" pooping in regards to styles relying heavily on repeating, stuttering and speed ups/slow downs that was popular and widely used in '06. The classic renaissance has been moderately popular and successful with a lot of fast-paced effect/visual poopers trying it at least once.
- Father of the core simplistic and explicitly named "Simplicity" collab, the first iteration I hosted myself, "Innovation in Simplicity" and a participant of in the Simplicity Collab 2.0 hosted by Chemistryguy.
