This article is filed under Characters.Dolphins are the marine mammals of Dinosaur World and Dinosaur Land that help the Mario bros. in the games. In the episode "Mama Luigi", they supposedly help Mama Luigi and Yoshkins to shore by jumping and eventually flying.

There is also an American Football team in the NFL called the "Miami Dolphins" that went undefeated in 1972, as well as a former Nippon Professional Baseball team (now disbanded).
Trivia
- Dolphins are closely related to whales.
- The Dinosaur World populations are diminishing fast, due to the radiating AIDS of Mama Luigi (the ones he rode in the self-titled episode died later that day in 1989, in fact).
- Their Dinosaur Land populations are secure, however.
- It is thought that Dolphins evolved from land-dwelling canids that had returned to the sea.
- Killer Whales are technically Dolphins.
- They also eat other dolphins, as well as whales.
