ChrisGendo is a Youtube Pooper who started focusing on making it around mid-2008, though casually making them since early 2007. He might be notable on 4chan for making a popular Girugamesh video with the Gilgamesh theme from Final Fantasy V. He also made an (EXTREMELY FUCKING) overrated Night of Nights x Boxxy video, and contributed to the Touhou fad "BR⑨S".

History

ChrisGendo originally signed up to youtube around July 2006, under the account flclrocks678. His first videos he posted on youtube were AMVs, several in which were done for comedy purposes (like unfitting songs and the like). Later he discovered the AMV Hell series, and got into more comical editing from there. He made several joke videos inspired by them, doing sarcastic image slide-shows and such. Late into 2006, he discovered RetardedAnimeParody's account and soon after Kajetokun's videos, which sort of changed his perspective on editing. This lead up to ChrisGendo's three first poops, all in which were traps, including a fake Elfen Lied episode and two hentai traps. The first one he made had over 60,000 views in a single day. Because of the popularity hitting him all at once over an underedited video (compared to his other two), he decided to delete the account and start anew. This lead to the creation of the account "ChrisGendo". When starting this account, he decided to do some fandubs inspired by the works of LittleKuriboh, which didn't gain him a whole lot of popularity. Over the year and a half with the account, he did make several poops, but his fanbase at the time weren't too fond of them, preferring the AMVs and dubs he did. He later discovered all of the Zelda CD-i and Hotel Mario videos, liking them so much he made the account Safooma91 to create 4 god-awful Zelda CD-i poops. He also did join a few short fads, but over time started making videos strictly on his main account. Over time he discovered NS2's account, and was inspired to make videos in that style, leading to the creation of more stutter-filled videos. These weren't very well received by his fans, just as before. In the summer of 08, his account was suspended by the Tokyo Broadcast System, for videos using the anime "Clannad", and right afterwords made the account "MrChrisGendo". The account was only up for a month before he removed it again, for reasons that can't be disclosed (but it was later reopened). A few days after it was closed, he made the account "ChrisGendoAlt", which is his current account (and thankfully hasn't had a single strike yet). Since almost his entire fanbase left him this time around, he decided to start making youtube poops more frequently, and is now a full time pooper, and has now become more popular in that field. He doesn't post much on the YouChew forum, but you might find him in the Tennis Cafe from time to time.

Style

ChrisGendo's style ranges from simple and minimalistic to crazy visual rape stuff. His solo videos are usually the more minimalistic then his tennis videos, but he usually keeps a fast-paced, rapid fire style in those. Earlier on he kept the visual effects on the slim side, only really using stutters and reverse effects, but after several tennis matches he's been more open with using more effects. His tennis matches are generally more crazy then his solo work, usually using more 3d Wax effects, but even so he rarely goes rape unless his opponent is. He also does YTPMV's on occasion, and often his style is more rapid-pace, usually not using a single clip for more then a second or two (which I guess is actually considered unique, even though Nico does it all the time). More recently he's been making extremely colorful visual rape videos in tennis, similar to Morfgworfmim. Overall, for the most part he can emulate most styles.

Reception

Most of his popularity and praise come from his stupid Boxxy x Night of Nights MV and Girugamesh video. As a pooper, he's fairly well received, namely in YTP Tennis. He's mostly praised for his solid pacing and stutters. He seems to have gained some tennis popularity since the first Tennis Season.

  • Using english dubbed anime (typical complaints from retarded weeaboos who take that kind of shit way too seriously)
  • Tonedeaf when it comes to making MVs

Achievements

  • Gaining more subscribers on his current channel then his previous banned one. (currently over 300)
  • Contributed in starting the chain of MAZZ0Murder videos with GIRUGAMESH, along with unfortunately creating one of the most popular Girugamesh videos
  • Got 7th place on RetardedAnimeParody's Top 10 Youtube Poops in January, with the video filler.
