Windows Movie Master

The Windows Movie Master was a specialized YouTube Poop Tennis Tournament hosted by strong414bad that involved a classic Cup-style procession of matches in which Windows Movie Maker was the only editor players could use. The event ran from April to November of 2009 and overlapped with the then ongoing Tennis Season, The Doubles Cup which at that time was going into its last match, and The Grey Tournament which would have started signups but not officially commenced until after the conclusion of the Season and this tournament. Many of the players who joined were ones that hadn't played in tournaments before specifically because WMM was their main editor and with the opening of this felt like they finally had a place where theirs would be the most fairly matched. One such player, DaftPunkYoshi, who was already building a reputation for his impressive technicality with the famously basic-in-appearance editor, would be the winner of the Tournament with much praise, and it would be the only tournament he would actively participate in. Because the tournament was organized and planned out like the Tennis Cup, it is retrospectively looked at now alternatively as the Tennis Cup II, to keep in likeness with the logic of the Tennis Cup IV's name, though it is still commonly referred to under its original title. A special award set was created solely for this tournament, for participants and the winner, and has not been used again since.
