The Boondocks is about the Freeman family (which consists of a granddaddy named Robert and two children named Huey and Riley) who first moved out of their home in [[Chicago]] to a normal, suburban, predominately white neighborhood. During their time spent, they often get into situations that are hard for ''anyone'' to get out of, let alone a grandfather and two children. Basically, you could say it's almost like a(n auto?)biography involving the (ab)normal lives of the Freeman family.
