Scar
This article is filed under Characters.Scar is the evil uncle of Simba and the younger brother of Mufasa. He employs a pack of hyenas consisting of Shenzi, Banzai and Ed, but their incompetence usually leads to Scar's downfall. He appeared as the antagonist of the Disney film The Lion King, attempting to overthrow his brother and take his place as king. He did this by killing Mufasa and having his lackeys attempt to kill Simba, but Simba escaped and later returned to defeat his uncle.

- His skin appeared in Hercules as a costume.
- His eye remains intact even after being slashed, much like an anime character.
- He is much like King Claudius in Hamlet, in that he betrayed and murdered his brother, the King, in order to become the King himself.
- However, he did not use poison to kill the King.
- He is one of the few Disney villains who managed to kill a major character, unlike Jafar.
Death[edit]
King Scar was finally defeated by his nephew, by forcing him over a cliff into his own army of hyenas, who mauled him alive for lying and making false promises.
As a result of this mauling, he would end up dying from blood loss.
His loyal bitches would later be exiled from the pride by King Simba.
