Tokyo [東京] is a city in Japan, located on Tokyo Bay, that is known for technology (especially in Akihabara), fashion (mostly Shibuya), drunk salarymen, loads of trains, and as the capital city and location of the Imperial castle, in addition to being the most populated city in Japan.

東京、こんばんわ! [Tokyo, good evening!]

Godzilla often destroys Tokyo, for odd reasons.

東京の有名なエリア [Famous area in Tokyo]

  • Akihabara (known for electronics and otaku)
  • Shibuya (known for fashion and its famous crossing)
  • Harajuku (known for kawaii)
  • Odaiba (an island known for leisure and recreation)

東京に住むプッパ [Poopers who live in Tokyo]

に嫌われた [Hated By]

  • Osaka (especially when the Hanshin Tigers and Yomiuri Giants play)
  • Saitama

トリビア [Trivia]

  • Is part of the largest metropolitan area in the world, combined with Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba prefectures.
  • Has several of the busiest train stations in the world, including the busiest, which is Shinjuku station.
  • Speaking of trains, the trains are internationally renowned for extreme punctuality.
  • Has a rivalry with Osaka, especially in baseball. In fact, the Yomiuri Giants-Hanshin Tigers rivalry is as intense as the New York Yankees-Boston Red Sox rivalry.
    • In fact, Tokyo has 2 teams within Tokyo proper: the Yomiuri Giants, and the Yakult Swallows.
  • Is a victim of wildly unrealistic "theme park" portrayals in fiction, much like other international cities.
  • Is destroyed and rebuilt nearly every 50 years or so, most recently after World War II.
  • Has its own classification, -to (or metropolis), on-par with a prefecture in governance.
  • A large portion of the metropolis is actually rural, primarily the western part (also known as the Tama area).
  • Is set to host the 2020 Olympic Games.
