- Originally began as a series of shorts on Nickelodeon's Oh Yeah! Cartoons in 1998 before it became it's own show in 2001.
- Several crossovers movies with the Jimmy Neutron series were created (called "Timmy + Jimmy Power Hours)
- The show got a live action TV movie in 2011 featuring a grown up Timmy Turner (played by Drake Bell). This was originally meant to be the finale, but a sequel to it and an entire 9th season has been planned for late 2012 through 2013.
