In brief

fiv95 / Gab is a little nobody who does whatever he wants when it comes to editing videos and stuff like that, and by surprise gets praised by a bunch of (popular and not popular) people around the community. He started making youtube poop videos in 2009, until 2010 when he made a hiatus until 2012/2013. Outside the community he draws abstract art & creatures/monsters, and also makes music (that is some sort of ethereal indie electro, sometimes ambient or experimental. Influenced by artists like Aphex Twin).

2008

Even before discovering YTP, I recall doing experimental "remix" attempts with songs I liked on Goldwave, with only adding some bunch of effects on them. Nowadays I can relate them to "audio poops".

2009

While looking at random stuff on Youtube including newgrounds animations & surfing the website I stumbled upon a Hotel Mario ytp which I found pretty weird and amusing, yeah, you know the story, I ended up being obsessed with it, wanted to make a try on making videos of the sort and stuff. I did totally mediocre videos with WMM until September, when I got Sony Vegas. My first tennis match was around November, which unfortunately was against... Myself. I consider it as a "practice" tennis match, for being the first, and against myself, though.

2010

Words can't describe how much I miss this year, in ytp terms, obviously. I tennised a bunch of cool people and gained a lot of editing skills in vegas for being really young at the time.

2011

I went on a hiatus on pooping until late 2012 due to lack of interest in the community. Nothing uploaded.

2012

Nothing except only a 15 seconds long ytp was released that year. Also I gotta say it was pretty crappy judging that I haven't used Vegas in a long while. Also, he almost closed his account earlier that year.

2013

My official return to YTP. At first, around March-June I did pretty horrible videos full of poorly done over editing/heavy-effects, which I consider my worst era in YTP, around June/July-November I started increasing my editing skills a whole bunch and started being a fast-paced pooper. Since December my popularity and editing skills began increasing more and more, I started adding more jokes and sentence-mixing and some certain YTP's were acclaimed by fellow poopers.

2014

Very early on the year, thanks to his "YTP - Nerd Video Gamer Angst" video he got featured for the first time in a semiweekly KEvinTackerman list on #10. He slightly starts being interested in YTPMV, even if he previously said those weren't that good. Has improved his editing skills greatly, mainly on tennis & fast-paced videos. Has gotten quite a lot of good reception on his latest videos, as of July 2th. Sadly, he has deleted quite a lot of his older videos, including his most popular ones (from 2k to 100k views), without thinking twice. Went through moments of uninspiration and darkness through this year and, even if he gained a bunch of acclaim and associates on the community, it's a pretty harsh year so far, which caused him to lose a lot of motivation. Accidentally deleted gmail account, when wanting to just close his main account, thus, unintentionally removing both his alt accounts. Still doing well on his new account, "fiv95", though! His style started getting very experimental & musical based around the end of the year, so yeah, that's a plus there, I guess.

2015

By 2015 he reached a better sense of the community & also known many new people on January. He started 2015 with his videos for the Tennis League IV, which were quite decently received. Also started experimenting with effects again, less active as he's been focusing a bit more on school and other artistic / linguistic hobbies to deal with depression, of course without losing interest in making videos & being on this community.

Negative opinions on his videos are rare; they mostly come from people that either dislike or hate YTP's that aren't joke based, lol.

Achievements

  • People liking the few YTPMV's he made, and his improvement in the Youtube Poop community.
  • Being associated with poopers like RobGBA, TheCaledioScope, cupoficewater1, etc.
  • Apparently inspiring TheChutley to start making tennis videos again thanks to him seeing This video, aka his serve against KeishCopp according to a few people, which is actually one of his best achievements he'll ever get!!!

Criticism

  • Some poopers saying he needs to use faster effects (he improved a bunch on it).
  • People saying that he needs to stop being constantly hard on himself and the videos he makes.
  • He sometimes joins a bit too much collabs and tennis matches, and ends up giving up on some for lack of time/ideas.
