While most simple words have scientific and formal translations (e.g.: eat-consume, write-enscribe), "Fuck" remains the only verb in the English language that means "to have sex with", meaning that "to have sex with" is it's only "scientific" or "formal" form, which is another reason why it is such a popular word.
