I am the stone that the builder refused, I am the visual, the inspiration that made ladies sing the blues, I am the spark that makes your idea bright, the same spark that lights the dark so that you can know your left from your right, I am the ballot in your box, the bullet in your gun, the inner glow that lets you know to call your brother "son", the story that's just begun, the promise of what's to come, and I'mma remain a soldier 'til the war is won!

Chop, chop, chop; judo flip!

The Boondocks is about the Freeman family (which consists of a granddaddy named Robert and two children named Huey and Riley) who first moved out of their home in Chicago to a normal, suburban, predominately white neighborhood. During their time spent, they often get into situations that are hard for anyone to get out of, let alone a grandfather and two children. Basically, you could say it's almost like a(n auto?)biography involving the (ab)normal lives of the Freeman family.

Oh, and did I forget to mention all the kickass action that comes around for practically every episode? Because that's the most important thing about this series. That, and seeing nigga moments come to fruition.

Characters

  • Huey Freeman
  • Riley Freeman
  • Robert Jebediah Freeman (Granddad)
  • Ed Wuncler Jr. (An old white man who secretly works for the Illuminati.)
  • Ed Wuncler III
  • Gin Rummy (In disguise, he's really Samuel L. Motherfuckin' Jackson.)
  • Uncle Ruckus (No relation to the black folk.)
  • Tom Dubois
  • Sarah Dubois
  • Jasmine Dubois
  • Gangstalicious
  • Thugnificent
  • A Pimp Named Slinkback (One of the best characters around.)
  • Leonard (A retard who loves to stick around with Thugnificent, no matter what.)
  • Colonel Stinkmeaner (Another great character.)

Further Information

{{#ev:youtube|1buC21vrBfM|320}}One of the many fight scenes.
  • Did you know that before it was a TV show, it was also a comic strip found in some Maryland newspapers.
  • Since this show involves kickass action, expect it to be a little bit on the bloody side.
  • Because this show was created by a black guy, it's allowed to say "Nigga" and any other variations of that word without any censorshit going through it's way. You got a problem with that, Nyuukah!?
  • One time, the comic strip was switched to a pro-patriot comic strip because of 9/11. Basically, it was sort of a parody of what America was going through at that time or something like that.
  • Man, not even half of those motherfuckers even appear in the damn comic strip. Hell, where in the fuck is that other motherfuckin' nigga child that is a friend to Huey? I mean, we thought he was gonna show up in season 3, but no. Not even a motherfuckin' cameo of him was found.
