The Youchew LeMons Edsel
In 2011, Yoshit made an announcement that he intends to build a car to participate in the "24 Hours of LeMons" racing series, upon his return to Pennsylvania in the future. His plan is to take a junk yard or a junk yard bound 1958 Edsel Ranger, rebuild the engine, and race it in the LeMons. Currently, the YCP Serpifeu (EDS-58), as it is to be christened, is planned to look as such:
- Main colour: Haze grey with black "water line"
- Roof: Deck grey
- Roll Cage: White.
- Interiour: White with blue deck pans.
- "Youchew" in black block lettering on the back.
- First Navy Jack decal on front of hood.
- National Ensign decal on rear of trunk lid.
- The number 58 in white block numbers with darker grey "shadow".
Plus other details to be announced.
When the car is finished and he finally competes, all prize money obtained in racing will be donated to Youchew.
Trivia
- Is a sailor in the U.S. Navy.
- Is stationed in Sasebo, Nagasaki, Japan.
- His nicknames amongst his shipmates are "Admiral" (due to his desire to be an officer) and "Robin Hood" (because of his boots).
- Owns an Apple ][+ (with Disk ][ drive), a Macintosh SE, a Macintosh SE/30, and a Macintosh Classic.
