About

Happy Tree Friends is a show produced by Mondo Mini Shows, created by Kenn Navarro, Rhode Montijo, and Warren Graff. It's about cute, cuddly forest animals who end up getting into situations that end in disaster, hurting or killing most of them. Most episodes start out with normal everyday activities that turn into absolute chaos. Most of the time, death is caused by ordinary everyday objects, like pencils, or by Flippy the War Vet during war flashbacks. All the characters reincarnate for the next episodes. It started out as minute long shorts and ended up becoming around 3 or 4 minutes long, and even had a TV show that lasted a season, but was never continued. Along with a TV show, it even had a video game called False Alarm, which was mostly about Nutty, the candy obsessed squirrel.

In total, there are twenty HTF characters, four of those being primary characters. (Cuddles, Giggles, Toothy, and Lumpy).

Many people dislike it because it attempts to be funny with its violence and gore, and sometimes fails.
