Metal Slug
This video game franchise, created by SNK, is considered by many people as one of the best run-&-gun shooters of all time. In fact, it is so good, people, such as myself and Screwattack, actually consider it as the only run-&-gun series that can actually compete with Contra. The series still goes on as a mobile game called Metal Slug Defense and has gotten 7,000,000 downloads and above at the Play Store leaving its competitor to die out of survival, but the amount of downloads could help them make another game that may bring them back to the top.
The Story[edit]
Basically, it takes place in the near-future where a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Putin mixed together going by the name of Morden (spooooooky) wants to take over the world, along with his rebel army to take over. Fortunately, a group of 2 mercenaries (Marco and Tarma) with handguns stop the coup de'tat in order to save the world. As the story goes on, Morden joins up with Mars People (I'm not joking here.) and the two mercenaries are accompanied by two female mercenaries (Fio and Eri). However, the Mars People betray Morden at the end and abduct him to find all the evil shit inside his head. Luckily, the Axis-like soldiers would gladly surrender in order to save the world and they end up beating the shit out of the aliens, and that's the end of the story...it still continues... by the way, Metal Slug here means science fiction machines that are huge, scary, and powerful as shit.
After Math[edit]
Even though Morden is always defeated by the huge list of main characters in the story, he suddenly disappears planning to make another attempt of taking over the world. He would then make another agreement with the Mars People without any shit-off whatsoever included. Then at the end, he is sincerely bullshitted by them because there isn't any room for the both of them. He once hacked into a highly advanced server to take over the world but then it crashes with the Enclosed Instruction Booklet on the heroic team. But yet again, he never gives up his dreams of conquest even though not even a single shit was given at that day.
