In brief
WalrusGuy is the most famous pooper. As such, he has millions of fanboys, which caused people to hate him. Many also hate him because he uses flash in some poops. Despite this, he is quite good at this pooping business. One of his claims to fame is his ability to sentence mix.
Fall 2008 Ban & Return
His YouTube account was banned sometime between 2PM and 3PM Pacific Time on September 10th, 2008, with an astounding 15,000 subscribers. Colgate was found to be responsible for the incident, due to WalrusGuy's Dr. Rabbit YouTube Poops, which Colgate has been a nazi about.
He returned on Friday 10th October, 2008 (exactly 1 month since getting banned). Colgate had not responded within the appropriated time, and WalrusGuy was returned to YouTube. Many of his fans are still welcoming him back from his month-long ban.
Account Closure
WalrusGuy closed his account on the 24th of May. He has not explained his reasons yet but McMaNGOS claims he is the reason.

Criticism
Many have claimed that WalrusGuy doesn't make poops that are confusing, and that he instead mixes words and sentences in order to create double meanings, which makes newcomers think that "Youtube Poop" means a remix video that has a structured plot instead of one that has confusing gags. Others complain that WalrusGuy uses too much CD-i. However, this is usually exaggerated by the stupidity of his fanboys, and the YCP community who are tired of overused poop gags. Since Then, he occasionally makes CD-I and Dr. Rabbit Poops along with mislabeled Mama Luigi Poops which contain Dr. Rabbit. He makes poops with uncommon sources and he is still successful.

WalrusGuy once sent an iCarly Poop to Nickelodeon as a prank, and it can be viewed on YouTube, as well as right in this section.

Even Deepercutt missed him, or at least, didn't care that he was gone. Copied and pasted from his channel description: "Ok I'm well aware of that fact Walrusguy is gone, I don't care."
Walrusguy is one of the few people (let alone poopers) to ever return from being suspended from Youtube.
On April 08, 2009, his poop of the Shiddy Bear was on the PopTub thig. It definently shows that he's now a mainstream bitch. He even made a special announcement about this two or three days later.
