Description

The Touhou Project is a series of bullet hell games consisting mostly of female characters (probably lesbians). The difficulty of the games is absolutely insane, and your brain will burn out due to frustration. Unsurprisingly, it was made by a Japanese man named ZUN.

Touhou also has an unofficial music group called IOSYS (named after the .dll file needed to play the music in the games). However, the amount of fan music and remixes in all different genres of music is quite incredible.

Source-wise: There are two fan-made anime of Touhou with further installments to one of them on the way. There are also numerous PVs and music videos for the IOSYS songs. Touhou is used a lot in MADs (which are a sort of Japanese YTPMV).

Also, the sixth game in the series is what brought us the song U.N. Owen Was Her.
