What do we do if the character is from Teen Titans, The Boondocks, or Avatar, The Last Airbender? There is a controversial issue on whether non Japanese people can create anime I would like to hear people's opinions on that. YouMustDie (talk) 19:46, 12 June 2014 (PDT)YouMustDie
- Wikipedia categorizes them as Anime-influenced animation so, such things are technically not anime since the word anime specifically refers to Japanese animation.[1] For our purposes, I think it would be best to categorize the examples you provided in Category:Sources - Animated TV shows (for source articles) and Category:Cartoon Characters (for characters). - TheFXexpert (talk) 08:20, 13 June 2014 (PDT)
