Wikipedia categorizes them as Anime-influenced animation so, such things are technically not anime since the word anime specifically refers to Japanese animation.[1] For our purposes, I think it would be best to categorize the examples you provided in Category:Sources - Animated TV shows (for source articles) and Category:Cartoon Characters (for characters). - TheFXexpert (talk) 08:20, 13 June 2014 (PDT)

Although I think anime is an art style, I guess we can go with that.
