A super rare show that Warner Bros. doesn't even have all the episodes anymore (at least in color). It is included here because it is like a frontend to many Looney Tunes shorts from above (from 1948 onwards), however 52 episodes were produced for ABC in 1960/1961.

The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour is a mix of the Bugs Bunny Show and the Road Runner Show, cut up from each other so some segments were missing altogether. The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Show and The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show are just censored Looney Tunes with a theme song and different titles that lasted up to 2000, only Coronation Street is longer. The last of these is still airing in Canada, even today.

There are 5 DVDs available as the Looney Tunes Golden Collection series as it is highly recommended that these are purchased to support the highly expensive restoration costs per cartoon. The American versions are the best as they have all the episodes and special features (unlike the European version that as 4 cartoons missing from the recent set).

The Bugs Bunny Show (and all its incarnations)

A super rare show that Warner Bros. doesn't even have all the episodes anymore (at least in color). It is included here because it is like a frontend to many Looney Tunes shorts from above (from 1948 onwards), however 52 episodes were produced for ABC in 1960/1961.

The Bugs Bunny Show (1960-1961, reaired in color in 1965, cut up in 1968 and aired in 1971 in Canada)

Season 1 (these don't have any titles so these are named with the first short that appeared or a description)

  • "Rabbit Every Monday"
  • Rocky sponsors The Bugs Bunny Show
  • Introducing Pepe Le Pew
  • Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner interrupt the Bugs Bunny Show (before their time)
  • Multitasking Daffy (Matthew Hunter)
  • Music contest
  • Daffy Disguises as Bugs
  • Daffy becomes presenter
  • Tweety hosts the show

  • Jose and Miguel, Mexican cats
  • Bugs Shows How to Draw a Cartoon Character (not the same as the later A Star is Bored)

  • Rocky and Mugsy hijack the show

Season 2 (the ones with a + are available on DVD - with a mix of color and black and white)

  • The Cat's Bah

  • The Honeymousers +
  • A Star is Bored + - Used by Furnessly
  • A Tale of Two Kitties

The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour is a mix of the Bugs Bunny Show and the Road Runner Show, cut up from each other so some segments were missing altogether. The Bugs Bunny Road Runner Show and The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show are just censored Looney Tunes with a theme song and different titles that lasted up to 2000, only Coronation Street is longer. The last of these is still airing in Canada, even today.

Further information

There are 5 DVDs available as the Looney Tunes Golden Collection series as it is highly recommended that these are purchased to support the highly expensive restoration costs per cartoon. The American versions are the best as they have all the episodes and special features (unlike the European version that as 4 cartoons missing from the recent set).
