Description[edit]
Castlevania is a miserable little pile of secrets and famous video game series produced by Konami. It pursues characters throughout various time periods who fight against Dracula. It has crossed over into other media such as Dream Mix TV World Fighters, Captain N: The Game Master, and... New International Track & Field. Really.
Though they are mostly platform/adventure games that can sometimes be compared to Metroid (though most Castlevania games are straight platformers), Castlevania Judgement broke the mold by being a one-on-one fighting game, featuring characters looking like they were pulled from Death Note and Maria being envious of other characters' boobs.
It's not all doom and gloom though. Konami have been pumping out old game collections on current day consoles (Yep, even the DS ones with the awkward touch screen stuff), they had an entire crossover DLC with Vampire Survivors where Dracula became that game's first ever vampire, and more importantly, Simon and Richter Belmont, Alucard and poppa Drac made a stunning appearance in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Yeah, the Belmonts are eating gooooood.
