From Chewiki Archive - YouChew: 1% Funny, 99% Hot Gas

In brief

A pooper since mid-2007, RideTheCatfish spent more time watching poops as opposed to making them, up until the summer of 2008. He is a regular on the forums, a member of the writing staff for the front page, and is more than likely making a poop with Sony Vegas as you read this.

History

RideTheCatfish began watching poops in mid-2007, but had been at least slightly aware of them since late-2006. After months of merely watching them, Catfish decided to take things into his own hands and fired up Windows Movie Maker. His first uploaded video, It's Fiddler Crab Season! was seen by approximately four people.

It wasn't until he came upon YouChew that his videos got more attention, and since then he has garnered more than 200 subscribers. To this day, he makes poops.

Style

Whatever suits the mood, mainly. That means everything from sentence-mixing to stuttering to YTPMVs.

Preferred Tech

Started off with Windows Movie Maker, but later switched to Sony Vegas, and has stayed with Vegas ever since ever since.

Preferred Sources

Anything that seems to fit the bill. Some favorite sources include CD-i, the Donkey Kong Country TV Show, I.M. Meen, and a variety of different commercials. Anything that's silly.

Dislikes

Ear-rape, those flashy and unidentifiable midi-YTPMVs, most overused bullshit, bad poops in general.

Reception

Most of RideTheCatfish's videos have been met with positive remarks, and sometimes even response videos. Catfish probably thinks a lot less of his videos than some of his fans do.

Achievements

RideTheCatfish has more than 220 subscribers as of June 28th, 2009, and that number continues to grow. Several of his videos have hit the 5,000 and 10,000 view marks, and several of his videos have a good deal of responses.
