That strange little noise Mama Luigi makes after he says his catchphrase. However, it should be noted that Mama Luigi does not have asthma, but rather a lung condition where he has to wheeze everytime he says his catchphrase.
It is never terminal.

- Mama Luigi: Straight after Mama Luigi corrects Mario of his name.
- The Night Before Cave Christmas: Twice, once when Mama Luigi mentions not to wear a Santa costume in Brooklyn and when Mario, The Princess and himself discover the toys have been stolen.
- Gopher Bash: Mama Luigi makes a small wheeze whilst crying after IT WAS ALL HIS FAULT!

- The Yoshi Shuffle/Soufflé: One of the cavemen wheezes after hearing about a straight-line.
- The Night Before Cave Christmas: Regular Luigi wheezes after saying to Santa Mario not to wear this gay costume in Brooklyn.
