Description
The Powerpuff Girls is simply a show about three little girls created by Professor Utonium that have superpowers (after an accidental dose of Chemical X was added) to fight off crime in the City of Townsville. Besides all the butt kicking and such, the girls also learn life lessons through their adventures, such as swearing, bed-wetting, having a security blanket, taking a bath, and more. The most notable episode in the YTP community is "Supper Villain", made popular by MarkieV101, with his "You'll never guess what's for breakfast!" video. Also, "The Mane Event" and "Powerpuff Girls Best Rainy Day Adventure" are very popular episodes as well.
Media Infomation
The Powerpuff Girls was created by Craig McCracken first as the "Whoopass Girls" as a short film while he was in CalArts. Then it was changed to "Powerpuff Girls" when McCracken gave it to Cartoon Network. The show was hand-drawn and produced in the Rough Draft Studios in South Korea. The show ran from 1998 to 2005, and a special 10th anniversary special was made in Adobe Flash at the Cartoon Network Studios in Burbank, California, and aired on January 19th, 2009.
