The beer guy is an unnamed character whom Link encounters on his way to fight Glutko in The Faces of Evil. When the Beer Guy learns of this, he gives Link a handy tip: "Feed him! Something spicy, know what I mean?" (Because you have to throw a bomb into Glutko's mouth to kill him.) However, this has been misinterpreted as a sexual advance.

He spends most of the time, however, getting drunk and eating chicken legs. Chickens must be easy to find in these games.

He might be is a distant cousin of Barney Gumble, and possibly Barney Rubble as well.
