An apparently normal scene (that is not [[cd-i] takes place that demonstrates some peril. At a key moment the footage is freeze framed and the phrase "DIE" can be heard, the scene amy then resume with or without actually showing a death.
 
 
 
==Dinner Fetish==
 
 
 
The obsessional fetishistic use of [[Zelda]] footage sentence mixing that includes substitutions of the words dinner, cakes, It burns, die (see above), etc. 
 
 
 
==Ear Rape==
 
 
 
Turning the volume up to maximum so the it is utterly distorted. A popular choice with those that wish to annoy, but usually use sparingly in order to cause surprise
 
 
 
==Elemental==
 
 
 
A rich mans MS PAINT JOB in which a photographic has been cut out and placed onto a shot. Popular choices include Luigis face, and weapons. Name after Photoshop and Premiere Elements. 
 
 
 
==Erosion==
 
 
 
The use of a posterfy style filter that erodes the image in order to simplify and dilute detail. This can often have a very unnerving effect, especially when use for prolonged periods.
 
 
 
==Extreme Slow-Mo==
 
 
 
Reducing the speed of a clip to around one frame per second - used both for comedic effect but also for mystery and a rather eerie suspense.
 
 
 
==[item] List==
 
 
 
A question posed is answered with a number of different items; clips from many various sources.
 
 
 
==Lock-Up==
 
 
 
Similar to a Stutter Loop but goes on for nearly the entire duration of the video. Similar to a PC locking up (crashing) mid way through playing a sound file. Slight variations are also common to suggest subliminal interference and serve to encourage viewer to watch the entire piece for fear of missing an important moment.
 
 
 
==MS PAINT JOB==
 
 
 
Badly painting over a freeze-frame. Popular choices include bulging eyes or open mouths. 
 
 
 
==Mysterious Zoom==
 
 
 
The slow zooming in to an apparently innocent part of the frame, such as the king's elbow of Mario's nose. See also the Needless Close Up
 
 
 
==Needless Close-Up==
 
 
 
A static close up on part of the picture, often making it difficult to tell what the original image was.
 
 
 
==Nouns Replaced with [item]==
 
 
 
Takes an often familiar scene and replaces nouns or sometimes verbs or specific words with a selected choice; these include explosions or other meme phrases.
 
 
 
==Personal Lock-Up==
 
 
 
A character becomes locked up (see below) whilst those around him are unaffected
 
 
 
==Pointer==
 
 
 
For some unexplainable reason, nearly all popular sources for YouTube Poop include a character pointing. This includes [[Fat Mario]] and [[Gay Luigi]] pointing to the sky, [[Mama Luigi]] pointing out Mario's mistake, [[King]] pointing in a number or directions as his arm gesticulate wildly, Hip (or is it Hop?) pointing to a Volcano, [[George the Volcano]] pointing to [[Tyrannosaurus Alan]] and so on. Taken out of context these people could all be pointing to anything and often end up pointing to some kind of disaster.

Often used within the body of a poop rather than on it's own a rape rave takes a clips or series of clips and replaces the around with dance music plus adds a quickly  changing colorise filter to suggest night-club lighting.
 
 
 
==Reversing==
 
 
 
The simple reversing of footage for comedic effect.
 
 
 
==Right There==
 
 
 
A meta-poopism which slows down or freeze frames a scene in order for the pooper to point out an error or otherwise interesting or funny detail.
 
 
 
==Stare Down==
 
 
 
A freeze of a character to suggest he/she is staring either at someone else being annoying or perhaps staring back. Sometimes the starer looks to the camera with an uneasy silence to suggest his disapproval of the previous scene.
 
 
 
==Stutter Loop ==
 
 
 
A simple and very quick loop of footage that repeats a short number of time to add emphasis.
 
 
 
==Stutter Loop plus==
 
 
 
The addition of rotation or horizantol/verticle flipping
 
 
 
==Stutter Loop minus==
 
 
 
The stutter loop can only be heard and not seen. See the infamous Robotnik Chair-Sitting Scene.
 
 
 
==Stutter Loop Reverse==
 
 
 
[[Rioting Soul]]: "In WMM, take a clip and cut it up into the smallest segments possible. Rearrange the pieces so that it starts with the last piece and progresses toward the first."
 
 
 
==Vanilla Loop==
 
 
 
A plain loop of footage, often around a second long with no added variety. Popular with early Poopers due to it's extreme annoyance factor plus ease of making.
 
 
 
==Vanilla Surprise==
 
 
 
It seems like a Vanilla Loop but in fact their are secret surprise to add variety. This may not even happen until the very end.
 
 
 
==Virus==
 
 
 
Similar to Erosion but uglier and nastier. A complete breakdown of a coherent image and often accompanied by extremely loud and relentless noise. The state of the image, whilst perhaps beings of an identifiable origin has been abused that codec artifacts and the like are very common.
 
 
 
==Voice of Poop==
 
 
 
The addition of common word and phrases into the soundtrack of a clip. Popular choices include "Mama Luigi", "That's Mama Luigi to You" "Spaghetti" and "Dinner" (see Dinner Fetish above)
 
 
 
==Word Trim==
 
 
 
Reducing a word in order to create new made up word. Made famous by [[elmullet]]'s [[Uctions]] series.
 
 
 
==You Cut==
 
 
 
The use of a word that closley resemles another word. Named after the [[mrSimon]] YTP video ident. Another good exaple is Robotnik yelling "Penis"
