Monado
The Monado is the main weapon of Shulk in Xenoblade Chronicles for the Wii. It is said to have powers beyond explanation.
Orgin[edit]
The Monado was originally formed by the titan known as the Bionis to counter the Mechonis while they were fighting in the open seas. Since that battle, the Monado was shrunken down to size so Homs could use it. There are multiple versions of the Monado, each more powerful than the last, each being creatively named Monado II, Monado III, etc. It has even been said that it can slay gods. It was origionally used by Danban during the battle of Sword Valley, but he eventually gave it Shulk.
Powers[edit]
Unlike other swords, the Monado's range is incredible! It manly attacks with a beam as it's "blade." It cannot cut people, at least Homs.
In addition, the Monado comes with a range of arts, abilities that can greatly help the user.
- 疾 (Speed): Increases speed of User.
- 盾(Shield): Surrounds user and nearby allies with shields, increasing defense.
- 斬(Buster): Unleashed a giant strike to greatly damage enemies, specifically Mechon.
- Enchant: Increases user's attacks against Mechon.
- Purge: Uses Aura Seal to prevent target from reading minds.
- 翔 (Jump): Gives the user higher jumps, but lowers defense.
- 撃(Smash): Stronger launch ability, weaker attacks, lower defense against launching.
Characters that have used the Monado[edit]
- Dunban (Used it during the Battle of Sword Valley)
- Shulk (He's the heir to Monado!)
- Kirby (Upon copying Shulk, he get's his own.)
