Beans
Beans are small things that can be eaten or planted, depending on who you are. Robotnik has been known to compare rare objects to chili beans, particularly in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog episode Full-Tilt Tails. They were also part of the main plot line for Super Mario Bros. Super Show's Mario and the Beanstalk. In fact there was even a song by Marvin Gaye called I Heard it Through the Beanvine that made it Number 1 for 26 weeks and a game called Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine. Robotnik even did a song called "Smells like Chili Beans".
Beans are often found inside chili, but they are also found in other stuff. The colors tend to be yellow, green or brown.
