The Tennis League II was a Youtube Poop Tennis Competition hosted once again by Gallers and RabbitSnore that started in December 2007 and ended in activity in February 2008, with no clear winner despite all of the matches officially finishing.

Development

Like it's predecessor it would be primarily based off of a billards-style league, in which everyone within a particular group would all play against one another with the winner decided by accumulation of points. RabbitSnore clarified the specifics thusly:

With 6 poopers, there will be five gameweeks. During each gameweek there will be three matches. These matches will be predetermined and scheduled by Gallers and posted before the league begins. Each pooper will play each other pooper in single matches, over the course of the five gameweeks.

Each match is in the following format:

-4 rounds (2 poops each)

-1-3 minutes in length

-48 hour turnover

After a match is finished with 4 poops, voting for that match begins and lasts until the end of the next week. Votes must be done through PM, since polls are gone. Viewers, and league players as well, PM their votes to the host, who has yet to be determined (the host must be someone who is not playing; Gallers hosted the last league, but he's playing in this one).

Winning a match with the most votes earns you 3 league points. Losing earns you nothing. A tie earns each pooper 1 league point.

The 6 players that were to be were Gallers himself, now officially playing in is first competition, along with UncleChuckTH, BMATF, Wikiwow, SeductiveBaz, and RabbitSnore, the sole returning competitive player. Cloggedone reportedly signed up although a dispute lasting numerous pages over whether he was able to handle it took place, and it was eventually ruled that if he confirmed his dedication (he was known to spontaneously leave and come back) that he would play, else UncleChuck would take his place. He confirmed his participation after a long delay, in which UncleChuck became a replacement player once again. Other players who signed up as replacements were Lightning Spike, SoldierElerium(in which this league would be a one-off appearance), and BMATF's brother, BLASF (BigLuigiAndSonicFan). On Chrismas Eve 2007, Gallers and Rabbit collectively made the decision of hosting a second seperate league group alongside the one currently organized if enough replacement players were collected, with both having its own winner. UncleChuck eventually persuaded cloggedone to let him have his spot in order for him to have the opprotunity to play with the members of that particular tier (Rabbit joked that it was purely because BMATF and Wikiwow were in this tier, the three of them having recently played a historic 15 round all Robotnik Tennis Match, but it was also because UncleChuck was interested in playing the others there as well, such as RabbitSnore and SeductiveBaz) and cloggedone became a replacement, eventually becoming a part of the second tier, but never actually playing as he would be inevitably be soon replaced by Kingcornholio.

This would also be a signifigant competition in that this would be the first that Gamebop, at the time only 15 videos strong, would play in, as he would eventually go on to play in every subsequent tennis competition up to the present day, bar only the Tennis League III. The last player to join would be Terrorist, brought in by request from BMATF. With these last two players the league officially had enough for two tiers, and they were eventually finalized as:

Division A

BMATF

BLASF (later replaced by peskyplumber)

Terrorist

cloggedone (replaced by KingCornholio)

SoldierElerium

LightningSpike

Division B

RabbitSnore

UncleChuckTH

Wikiwow (later replaced by strong414bad)

SeductiveBaz

Gallers

GameBop (molhal)

A further addition in the layout was added in which the two players from each tier that emerged as winners would face each other in one last match, and whoever won this match would be the winner of the Tennis League II. This would also be the first competition to get a featured news article advertising it.

Matches

Much of the matches in the Division B remain intact minus a good amount of Gallers's rounds and the rounds from Wikiwow's only match, in Division A the only rounds that still currently exist are BMATF's, BLASF's, LightningSpike's and some of SoldierEleriums. Hence writing for matches involving the missing rounds will only be for what's left until further discovery of missing content is made, if any.

Week 1

The first week was set to start on January 20th, 2008, and with that came the following lineups:

Division A:

BMATF vs BLASF

Terrorist vs Cloggedone(replaced by KingCornholio almost immediately)

SoldierElerium vs LightningSpike

Division B:

RabbitSnore vs UncleChuckTH

Wikiwow vs SeductiveBaz

Gallers vs GameBop

Terrorist vs. KingCornholio has not one existing round on the internet left while SoldierElerium vs. LightningSpike only ever lasted one round due to LightningSpike, and eventually his replacement TantricInferno, taking too long. SoldierElerium would automatically be awarded 3 points for winning the match, while Terrorist would beat KingCornholio with 5 votes to 2, and thusly recieve 3 points for winning their match respectively.

BMATF vs. BLASF however remains all intact, and due to the sibling rivarly nature of it the match very quickly became incredibly popular with viewers and players, due also to the fact that both their styles were almost completely identical. The serve very briefly spawned a meme out of "THREE COURSE MEAL" and "REAL FOOD" from its Ren and Stimpy source and proceeded to be very defining of the matches progression and very little would be changed about it through each round, which proved to be very entertaining. Thereisnospork303 would take on a sports announcer persona through much of this league, saying the following about the serve, and responding to Rabbit's remark that he predicted the match turning out lovely:

"YOU CAN SAY THAT AGAIN, RABBIT. IN ALL THE YEARS OF COVERING THIS SPORT OF THE GODS, NEVER HAVE I SEEN SUCH QUICK FEET AND SPEED ON DISPLAY. I MEAN, LET'S CHECK THE REPLAY HERE ON THAT LAST DRIVE: BMATF LOOKS LIKE HE'S GOIN' TO COCONUTS FOR A PASS IN THE POCKET, BUT THEN WATCH THIS LITTLE TRICK: SLAM-A-LAM-A-DING-DONG! HE JUST CUTS THROUGH WITH A THREE COURSE MEAL! HOLY COW! THIS ISN'T GOING TO BE A SLUGGING MATCH FOLKS; IT'S GONNA BE AN ALL OUT WAR!"

"NOW BIGLUIGIANDSONICFAN WILL RECEIVE THE BALL. HE'LL WANT TO GET GOOD FIELD POSITION IF HE HOPES TO GAIN SOME JOEMENTUM!"

UncleChuck would join in with "AND BMATF RECIEVES THE PASS"

"THE REF SAYS IT'S GOOD! HE WAS IN BOUNDS WHEN HE GOT THE BALL. TALK ABOUT PICKING YOUR SPOTS! IT'S LIKE IF WALT WHITMAN DECIDED TO CREATE THIS GAME: IT'S PURE POETRY."

From Round 2, a source was introduced that had very high pitched classical music in its intro, and in the subsequent rounds the video would be replaced with the music still there, with it becoming Super Mario World in Round 3 and Chowder in Round 4. Much of the edits made were of the pitch shifting variety which was frequently done very fast and, in the case of "FoOoOoOoOooD" incredibly humorous. The "sports announcements" continued with:

"THEY SMASHED AT THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE LIKE TWO GIANT, OVERWEIGHT MUSTACHED SCIENTISTS WRESTLING FOR THE LAST SUGAR COOKIE. MAN, OH MAN! THIS IS THE WAY POOP TENNIS IS MEANT TO BE PLAYED! BMATF ALMOST SEEMS CAUGHT OFF GUARD HAVING HIS OWN PLAY BOOK TURNED RIGHT ON HIM, BUT HE'S A VET. VETS DON'T DROP THAT EASILY. HE JUST NEEDS TO REMEMBER NOT TO LET HIMSELF GET THROWN OFF. IT'S LIKE A FIGHT WITH HIS OWN REFLECTION! BOOM!"

"BMATF'S REALLY GONNA HAVE TO PULL ONE OUT OF THE FIRE FOR THIS ONE"

"THEY SAY YOUR GREATEST ENEMY IS YOURSELF. THAT'S ESSENTIALLY WHAT WE'VE GOT HERE. HE'S GOTTA HIT BACK WITH SOME NICE RUSHES TO WEAR THE DEFENSE OUT."

UncleChuckTH would also describe BLASF's style as something that almost seemed like BMATF editing his own rounds, later saying he would have no idea who did the best of the match, a sentiment that was echoed by many others. RabbitSnore was easily able to compare this match to the final lightsaber duel from Star Wars episode III, working off of BMATF's claim that he "taught him everything he knows". The final results would end up with BLASF being the winner with 2 to 5 votes, earning 3 points for the match win.

RabbitSnore vs. UncleChuckTH would serve to be an excellent match between the two of them, beginning with a humorous serve made up of entirely Star Wars films, specifically episodes 2, 3 and 5. UncleChuckTH would respond to this by his trademark addition of the Clone Wars cartoon to continue with the Star Wars idea, also adding in a little bit of the Super Mario Bros Super Show and Super Paper Mario to change it up a bit. Thereisnospork303 would comment:

"RABBIT CAME IN WITH THAT SERVE REAL HARD. I MEAN, HE RAN THE ROUTE WITH ANAKIN THERE... PADME'S TRAY TABLE KEPT LUIGI OFF THE QUARTEBACK, BUT THEN BOOM! YOU SEE THAT HIT?! ANAKIN STILL PICKS UP A FIRST DOWN. NOW RABBIT NEEDS TO MAKE SURE HIS OFFENSE LINE STAYS STRONG AS WE GET DEEPER INTO THE GAME. CHUCK HAS LOU ALBANO WHO MIGHT BE THE SECRET WEAPON IN STOPPING A DRIVE."

RabbitSnore's Round 3 would utilize his signature frame moving technique and would add mostly clips from Star Fox, while Round 4 would close the match with a surreal volley utilizing a lot of slowed down layers from the previous round on top of each other, which would be very much compared to Rabbit and Miss10's match from the first league. UncleChuckTH would win this match with 4 votes to Rabbit's 3, and thusly would earn 3 points for the match win.

Wikiwow vs. SeductiveBaz only remains half intact as of current but an interesting variety of sources were used throughout the match, including the most prominant being The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, an obscure driving safety video, the WWII-era Horton Hears a Who cartoon and Chocolate Rain. While Wikiwow would end up dropping out of the match due to too many accumulated penalties, which he said was due to him being very sick, he would still finish the match on his side, which would prompt SeductiveBaz to do the same, providing a proper conclusion. The score reads that SeductiveBaz, who inevitably won and therefore recieved 3 points, recieved 5 votes while Wikiwow recieved 0, while in reality his penalties made it -4. strong414bad would step in to replace Wikiwow for subsequent matches following this.

Gallers vs. Gamebop would feature the debut of both players on the competitive front, for the latter player being the first of many competitive matches yet to come. The serve was delivered in a very comedy oriented direction, much of the humor being considerably vulgar but it was nonetheless popular with some viewers. Gamebop would deliberately ignore much of the humor aspect of this serve and instead opt to edit the round in a technically experimental way, a distinctive example of his older style. His Round 2 featured a source of a friend of his named Darkwolf playing Kaizo Mario World (a frequent source in his videos at this time) in addition to Alfred Kwak, which was inserted into the round using the news windows and also featured a very early method of rough "phasing", or introducing sections of a round with a reoccurring other section. Many people reacted with astonishment at this approach, and this would catch the first attention of much of the tennis section at this time making him a primary focus throughout much of the rest of the league. Gallers' Round 3 featured a lot of added sources and considerably what was edited of the previous round didn't do it much justice, but it was still recieved well and RabbitSnore would award Gallers a complimentary "rabbit" for his efforts. Gamebop's Round 4, which many feared it wouldn't be made on time due to the length of time it took, featured some very strong editing with a strange added source titled "L'entourLoOp - Bouli bouli" and was greatly applauded for being worth the wait. Gamebop would win the match with 3 votes to 2.

By the end of this week, SoldierElerium, Terrorist and BLASF would all be in the current lead in Division A, while in Division B the lead would be shared by UncleChuckTH, SeductiveBaz and Gamebop.

Week 2

Week 2 matches were set to start on the 27th of January with the following lineups:

Division A:

Terrorist vs. BMATF

LightningSpike vs. peskeyplumber

SoldierElerium vs. Kingcornholio

Division B: strong414bad vs. RabbitSnore

GameBop vs. UncleChuckTH

Gallers vs. SeductiveBaz

While it is unclear as to what Terrorist did in Terrorist vs. BMATF, from the rounds on the other side it very well looks like a match with a similar progression to that of the match with BLASF, down to the reintroduction of both Ren and Stimpy and The Adventures Super Mario Bros 3 both in editing patterns that suggest minimalist yet humorous progression. Particular note was given to "HISTORY ERASER BUTTON" which would appear in all 4 rounds. BMATF would win the match recieving 5 votes to Terrorist's 2, ironically thinking he would lose the match.

With LightningSpike originally left without a partner at the departure of BLASF, this would be augmented to make the match of LightningSpike vs. peskyplumber, which would progress in such a minimalistic way that in comparison the serve was the most edited video of the match. It was nonetheless regarded as interesting overall, thankfully completing within the remaining time span after peskey had taken an unusually long time with his Round 2. In addition, despite getting a 2 vote penalty, he would win the match with a landslide count of 6 votes to 0. SoldierElerium vs. KingCornholio remains currently incomplete, although according to existing data KCH won the match with 4 votes to 2.

strong414bad vs. RabbitSnore started with a serve that was edited in a very advanced way using WMM, which was considered to be very significant for its time, with source featuring mostly David Bowie and a large amount of videos involving rabbits, one of which was indeed snoring. Rabbit would remark positively about this and volley back with something that would shoot over to "a very difficult part of the court", but certainly not out of bounds. Black_Puffin, who was an IRL friend of RabbitSnore and the head of the forum's Art Staff, would give the match an honorary "puffin", in relation to how RabbitSnore would give people "rabbits". Rabbit would then respond with a strong Round 2 making heavy use of frame moving while adding in Star Fox, the Clone Wars cartoon and a music video from a band called Toy Box Music, making rather creative use of some of the backgrounds of the serve including chroma-keying out the black on the transition bits. In Round 3 strong414bad would greatly increase the pace while adding in more David Bowie and Pac Man World 1 footage, also utilzing chroma-key effects of his own with quick style edits that attacked the previous round greatly, at which point the match would be described as "epic" by strong141bad himself. Rabbit's Round 4 would technically add nothing in terms of new sources, and opt for a rather interesting experimental("and possibly really stupid" as he put it) approach, with the first part of the round being intercut with several short bursts of black space. Then it would re-add in much of round 1, continuing the frame moving which involved more of the serve in addition to new clone wars footage, which transitioned to the next segment of the video with a clip of Yoda remarking "MASTER OBI-WAN CAN". This was then followed by mostly slowed down clips, including David Bowie's head chroma keyed upon a mostly plain background and a very slow split-from-center transition, all throughout a Clone Wars frame slowly moving from top left to bottom right. The video would end with Obi-Wan and Yoda giving each other an instinctively comical sneer. strong414bad considered this to be one of the most brilliant matches he had ever taken part of, and he would end up winning it with 6 votes vs. 3.

Gamebop vs. UncleChuckTH would be a very unique match in that audible spoken dialogue only appears in very miniscule amounts throughout the whole of the match if at all, leaving everything up to the elements of movement manipulation and other editing techniques to interperet the match progression. Gamebop would serve off using mostly the Shy Guy's Toy Box and Forever Forest worlds of Paper Mario 1, while also adding in a clip of Toad from Super Mario Bros. 3, where the only thing heard is the background music. A clip of Mario from the same cartoon is also added that while containing spoken dialogue, it is considerably altered to the point of being mostly incomprehensible. UncleChuck would add in Super Paper Mario in Round 2 as the new source, as well as adding in more footage from the same SMB3 episode used before, and edit in a similarly leering style that gave the match very smooth continuity. In Round 3 Gamebop would add in the Excess Express and Riverside Station scenes from Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, making the match now feature every Paper Mario game that had been released up to that time. Interesting edits would feature in this round including the incredible slowing down of the clip involving Parakerry dropping Mario right next to a block, various frames of the previous round overlayed onto the added footage in addition to the video ending with the VHS recording of the Paper Mario gameplay becoming excessively distorted, which would be a very early forerunner of an analog-influenced style of editing he would tinker more with several years later. UncleChuck would end the match with Round 4 featuring many stuttered clips from the previous round, while still keeping within the match's "silent" theme and rather contemplative atmosphere quite nicely. He would also add in "Running in the 90s" over a clip of Mario riding a running Yoshi and mask Robotnik's head over the Chaos Heart as to give minor humor elements to the match. The match was incredibly close in terms of votes, but UncleChuckTH would be the one to prevail as the winner with 4 votes to 3, which would be the only match that Gamebop would lose in this competition.

Gallers vs. SeductiveBaz could be best described by the title of it's serve, "A Very British Affair", as both the players of the match were of UK origin. While this remains without Gallers' last round, the concept of the match being "extremely British" was kept on with much silliness, including much of the in-thread conversation utilizing many deliberate english mannerisms particularly by RabbitSnore, which the other players responded to keep with the amusement of it all. By Round 4 SeductiveBaz was editing at his trademark full volume capacity again in what would be an absurdly comedic closure to the match, which because of the length of time it took to finish because of technical problems was resolved by waiving any penalties given in the match to make it even. It would be the first match of the competition(in addition to being the first competitive match ever) to end in a tie, with both players receiving a vote count of 3.

By the end of this Week, the scores now put UncleChuck in the lead with 6 votes with SeductiveBaz in second with 4, leaving RabbitSnore, Gamebop and Strong414bad tied for third with 3 and Gallers in last with just 1 point in Division B, while in Division A peskyplumber would be first with 6 points(borrowing from the win achieved by BLASF) with KingCornholio, BMATF, Terrorist and SoldierElerium tied for second with 3 points and LightningSpike in last with none.

Week 3

Week 3 matches were set to start on the 3rd of February with the following lineups:

Division A:

BMATF vs. Kingcornholio

peskeyplumber vs. SoldierElerium

Terrorist vs. LightningSpike

Division B:

RabbitSnore vs. SeductiveBaz

UncleChuckTH vs. Gallers

strong414bad vs. GameBop (molhal)

BMATF vs. KingCornholio continued in BMATF's rather enthusiastic presence in his style and his posts through the course of the match and would here for the first time break from his Ren and Stimpy inclusion formula used in the last two matches to this time add in almost entirely Mario cartoons, primarily that of The first episode of the Super Mario Bros. Super Show and the same episode of SMB3 that appeared frequently throughout Gamebop vs. UncleChuckTH. He would however keep in his usual flow by not failing to add AosTH in as well. While it is unclear exactly what KCH did in Round 2 (other than naming it's title "BE ITCHY"), in Round 3 Ren and Stimpy would appear once again and what appears to be a series of minimal yet humorously effective edits would be made to the previous round, in addition to the reversing of clips of Mario flying to the noises made by the head from Mario Teaches Typing. Round 4 would continue the minimal editing and also add in a lot of Garry's Mod clips throughout the round, bringing the matches concept which started with the in-video shouting of "BE COW", going to "BE ITCHY" and then "BE HAPPY" to close on "BE DAAAAAAAAAAAAH". This match would also end in a tie vote of 2 to 2.

peskyplumber vs. SoldierElerium and Terrorist vs. LightningSpike both only remain half intact, the former being applauded by RabbitSnore for managing the difficult task of maintaining sentence mixing throughout the match which was regarded as significantly difficult, and the latter becoming an intensely penalty heavy match on both players. SoldierElerium would end up beating peskyplumber with 5 votes to 1, while Terrorist would end up beating LightningSpike with 4 votes to 0, after penalty adjustment.

RabbitSnore vs. SeductiveBaz was billed as the "league match of PURE SEX" and started with a serve that used nothing but the infamous Clone Wars cartoon, and particularly all the clips that Rabbit had turned into macro images which he posted repetitively at this time, adding flavor to the humor of the match. Round 2 would only escalate this by adding in Bono's AIDS Day speech (famous for "AFRICANS")and being overly distorted as his videos normally were, with UncleChuckTH saying that everything he made essentially was stupendous and hilarious. Baz himself would respond with "EXPECT NOTHING LESS, ACCEPT NO IMITATIONS." RabbitSnore would also make the comment during this match that at one point his downstairs neighbors were having some very loud sex. With Round 3 he would add in some Cowboy Bebop in addition to the live-action Star Wars in the form of Episode V, with Yoda's "YOU FAIL" and "I DUNNO GENERAL" from the Clone Wars cartoon being heard repetitively throughout the round. SeductiveBaz would say that this was pretty much a perfect video and that the idea he had for Round 4 would either be incredibly amazing or end up destroying him, as he put it. For Round 4 he would once again produce all-distorted audio in addition to a Japanese Baby commercial featuring Hulk Hogan in what Rabbit would respond with by roleplaying a scenario in which he meets SeductiveBaz in a field to shake his hand for a great match. He would also say this was pretty much the most fun he had ever had playing tennis, received by Baz as an enourmous compliment, and Rabbit would also end up being the winner of the match with 2 votes vs. 1, which was startlingly small as of this point.UncleChuckTH vs. Gallers only remains half intact, but this would be Gallers's first full out win in the competition, with 4 votes vs. UncleChuck's 1.

strong414bad vs. Gamebop would feature an early inclusion of Torin's Passage by Gamebop into his tennis videos, producing a Round 2 in this match that was praised for how well it edited strong's serve, which used primarily Crash Bandicoot with "some clip on how to make cereal". Round 3 was edited in an attempt by Strong to edit Round 2 what he considered to be as hard as humanly possible for him, featuring a lot of editing that for WMM was considered to be once again very complex. Round 4 would feature a number of clips from the game Jewels of the Oracle 2, a puzzle adventure game which stylistically bears a number of resemblances to the Myst series (including the use of opening book animations in this round) of which Gamebop would come to use more regularly later on as well. The match had a rather humorous title progression in which an unknown character named "Cradslat" would be mentioned in every round of the match, with the question as to who exactly Cradslat was not raised until the last round was delivered. Gamebop would win the match by unusually another very small margin, with 2 votes to strong414bad's 1.

By the end of this week, RabbitSnore, UncleChuckTH and Gamebop would all be tied for first at 6 points and Gallers would now tie for second with SeductiveBaz at 4 points, leaving strong414bad now in last with 3 points in Division B which provided overall a very close margin of votes. In Division A Terrorist, peskyplumber and SoldierElerium would all tie for first with 6 points with BMATF and KingCornholio trailing behind with 4, and LightningSpike still in last with not a single point.

Week 4

Week 4 matches were set to start on the 10th of February with the following lineups:

Division A:

BMATF vs. SoldierElerium

peskeyplumber vs. Terrorist

Kingcornholio vs. LightningSpike

Division B:

RabbitSnore vs. Gallers

UncleChuckTH vs. strong414bad (Match forfeited, 3 points awarded to UncleChuckTH)

SeductiveBaz vs. GameBop (molhal)
