"If you need instructions on how to get through the hotels, check out the Enclosed Instruction Book"

The Enclosed Instruction Book is a very popular line used by Mario in the intro of the frequently pooped "Hotel Mario" for the CD-i. In a case of breaking the fourth wall, Mario and Luigi confront the player telling him or her that they need to help them on their quest. This ends with Mario giving the hint that if they need any help getting through the seven Koopa Hotels that they should check out the Enclosed Instruction Book packaged with the game, followed by Mario's iconic glazed stare into the camera holding up his finger until the cutscene ends. While such a short mentioning, the Enclosed Instruction Book from Hotel Mario has become a natural staple in the YTP phenomenon.
