- Around 2006-2007, DPY was interested in watching older, nostalgia cartoons on YouTube, such as Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog and The Super Mario Bros. Super Show. He didn't have a YouTube account yet. Around March of 2007, DPY was looking at some information about some cartoons that he hasn't heard of before. While on Wikipedia, he clicked on a link that redirected him to one of mrSimon's videos on YouTube. He enjoyed watching these videos ever since. During the summer of 2007, DPY created his first YouTube Poop, but it wasn't uploaded on YouTube until the 3rd week of August. He has gained many subscribers and viewers within the past year and he is currently still making videos to this day.

- Reception of DaftPunkYoshi's videos have been mostly positive. Critics have often praised his use of both ear-rape and sentence mixing, as well as the variety of effects done in Windows Movie Maker. Other critics find him as a very good YouTube Poop Tennis player as well. DaftPunkYoshi is usually considered one of the best WMM YouTube Poopers of all time.
Criticism
- Some critics have criticized DaftPunkYoshi's YTPMVs for being too repetitive, off-synced, and lacking in variety. Most viewers find them to be very mediocre at best.

- DaftPunkYoshi is a very shy and nice person. He's very paranoid and usually wants to be left alone at school and at home. Unfortunately, he suffers from both Anxiety and Depression. He also likes to draw and play video games(mostly simple and/or nostalgic games.) He is currently 18 years old and he is a high school graduate.
