'''BenderPictures''' (often shortened to '''"BP"''') is a YouTube Pooper known for making [[sentence mixing]] and [[Story-based Poop]]s, as well as his regular broadcast of The BP Show and his YTP Contest, Poop Standoff 1 and 2. A wide variety of material can be found on his channel aside from YTPs, such as lyrics videos and voice acting. He currently has around 800 subscribers and 500,000 views. After a "retirement" spanning almost a year, BenderPictures began making YouTube Poops again in September 2010.

==History==

BenderPictures registered on YouTube on May 6, 2007. His first YouTube Poops appeared around a year later in May 2008. Prior to YouTube Poops, BenderPictures posted various animations to his account. He started off with almost exclusively [[Mama Luigi]] material, and later in 2008 moved on to other CD-i titles, a habit he did not break until 2009.

In June 2009, BenderPictures entered the Poop Factor 2 YTP contest. He was crowned the winner out of 20 contestants after three months of rounds and eliminations. His viewership and subscribers increased during the contest after being exposed to other up-and-coming poopers. 

BenderPictures took over Poop Factor 3 in late 2009. The contest ended prematurely due to a lack of participation in later rounds as well as BenderPictures's departure from YTPs shortly therafter.

BenderPictures retired from YTP in January 2010. The move came after he released a new YTP that was almost universally panned. He removed the video, and had little involvement on YouTube in the following months. During this period he only posted three videos. Two were lyrics videos and the other was a voice demo.

BenderPictures "Un-Retired" on September 6, 2010 and has made several YouTube Poops since. 

In November BenderPictures also started a YTP Contest of his own, called Poop Standoff. He chose [[HotelWeegee]] and [[JestersOfChaos]] as his two additional judges. [[CFalcom095]] won Poop Standoff in January of 2011.

In Febuary, he launched his own YTP Show, called the BP Show. It is viewed by some as an alternative to YTPnews or as a fiarly unique program to follow alongside it. Stuart K. Reilly has since voiced his support for the show and it has been received well.

===Retirement/Hiatus and Un-Retirement===

Throughout his time on YouTube, BP has taken many hiatuses, the longest of which spanned nearly a year from October 2009 to September 2010. 

In fall 2009, BenderPictures made his final YouTube Poop of the year "Mama Luigi Tries to Sell Mighty Putty" which gained a relatively good reception. He then announced he would go on a brief hiatus due to being temporarily "out of ideas". He did not make another video until January 2010. The video was a YouTube Poop that was bashed in general and got many negative comments. BenderPictures removed the video a week later and announced his retirement.

His account had little activity on it through most of 2010 aside from favoriting videos, but in September he suddenly came out of retirement with the video "Spongebob Loses His Virginity". About a month later, BenderPictures released his second post-retirement video, "The Gay Games". His most recent video since is "YouTube Poop: Luigi's Nightmare Tale", posted on December 11.

===Disappearing Videos===

At one point, BP had over 60 videos, but now has only 43. Almost all of his YTPs from 2008 are gone. It is believed that he deleted all of these videos, and that they were not taken down for copyright reasons.

A reasonable estimate is that BP has at one point or another uploaded over 90 videos to YouTube.

===The BP Show===

In January 2010, BP started the BP Show, which has quickly become one of his biggest attractions, as it routinely gains more comments than his poops and he has gotten a decent amount of subscribers just from the show. He strives to make the show have "it's own feel" and to "be unique". He also makes it clear that he is "not ripping off MustangSally72". On YouChew, Stuart stated that he in fact likes the show, and BP has said the same about YTPnews.

His first episode dealt with [[Spadinner]] and eventually led to his assertion that "Spa-Dinner fags will be around forever".

His second episode featured an interview with [[Youthboy14]] and BP complained about fanboys whining over the loss of [[Waxonator]] and [[SantaWithGuns]].

The third episode was a combination of things, in which he featured a poop by [[JestersOfChaos]].

The fourth episode consisted of a few viewer-engaging things, such as voting for the Top 5 Dying Sources and "Bender's Challenge" to make a YTP of his show. The episode also featured an interview with [[DoomZappo]].

BenderPictures is known for being on the sentence-mixing extreme of the YouTube Poop community. In the past he has denounced techniques such as [[ear rape]] and Vegas effects, but this seems to have been toned down since being exposed to more good ear rape and Vegas style artists.

While in the past he has been opposed to effects and ear rape, he has always enjoyed YouTube Poops with visuals, despite the fact that none of his videos use many. He is also a fan of fellow story line Youtube Poopers.

Most of his videos contain story lines or converstions between characters, in a manner similar to (but less extreme than) that seen in [[QuibbyJibby]]'s and [[Swishfilmsinc]]'s videos.

While in the past BP has promoted a sentence mixing style as superior, he has recently been promoting a balanced approach. This refers to YTPs that maintain a balance of sentence mxing and effects, so as not to overuse either of the two different styles. Despite his support of this method, his recent videos still lean very heavily towards sentence mixing.

==Reception==

BenderPictures has an overall positive reputation. He is regarded as a good sentence mixer, and he is also noted that almost all of his YouTube Poops have clear story lines. Most of his videos lack effects of any kind.

His post retirement work has been received better than his earlier work. 

However, as of late he has been much more popular for The BP Show than his poops.

His most popular video is "Die or Else You Will Die", with over 100,000 views. BenderPictures has said in the comments that he has "no idea" why the 11 second video is watched as often as it is. 

His most popular full YouTube Poop is "YTP: SpongeBob Cuts Off His Own Hand By Mistake!" with around 65,000 views. He has said he is disappointed that it is his most watched full YouTube Poop in the video's description, while saying that his new work is much better.

BenderPictures was given the nickname "BP" sometime in 2009, and now uses the shortened version frequently. He is sometimes called "British Petroleum" as a reference to the oil company that goes by the same acronym.
