WTLNetwork is a group of students who make YouTube poops. The group consists of Sam (the founder), JT (the ideas man) and Chazlar (the special effects genius).

Early History[edit]
Creation[edit]
In early 2005, Sam made a poop of 'Bean', the Mr Bean movie. This poop was put together mostly in Windows Movie Maker, however some elements were completed with Premiere Pro, at which time Sam was extremely unfamiliar with. He referred to this poop as a 'spoof', as the word 'poop' had yet to be widespread. Later in the year, using the same methods, he created a poop of 'The Wrong Trousers', which he called 'The Wrong Movie'.
On May 31, 2006, shortly after his 14th birthday, he created the YouTube channel 'WeirdEars', where he would upload mostly Doctor Who-related materials, until April 26, 2008, when he uploaded a video that could arguably be called a YouTube poop. It consisted of the entire set of 'Coronation Street' being destroyed in a massive inferno, a storyline which would later become a reality. To this day, Sam claims it was his idea. These crude poops were shortly followed by the mildly successful mini-series 'Yahoo! Answers - Captain Obvious' in which Sam would post witty, clever or just plain rude responses to questions asked on Yahoo! Answers. 18 months later, the account was suspended.
On July 8, 2009, Sam opened the channel 'WTLNetwork', which was originally intended to be a platform for a sketch show idea that he and JT had formulated. However, the idea was eventually shelved. On October 31, 2009, after creating a Thomas the Tank Engine poop originally intended as a one-off, he decided to upload it to YouTube. Fearing suspension, as he already had two strikes on his WeirdEars channel, he instead uploaded it to the WTLNetwork channel. After being succeeded by several other Thomas poops, the channel gradually rose in popularity, which was when Sam decided to abandon the WeirdEars account.

Chazlar temporally took over the pooping side of WTLNetwork after Sams computer had to be formatted. At the time Chazlar hadn't made many poops entirely by himself and was busy working on other things, so struggled to keep up with WTLNetworks standard. After uploading 48 videos, each gaining between 5000 and 25000 views, WTLNetwork went on hiatus after uploading 'Paul and Barry Make Music For The Toadie' on August 8, 2010, mainly due to Sam getting a full-time job and not having the time to produce as many videos as he had previously.
Comeback[edit]
On October 9, 2010, two months and one day later, WTLNetwork uploaded the Thomas poop 'She Likes It Rough', which marked the comeback of WTLNetwork, albeit with a slower release rate than before.
Prior to closure[edit]
WTLNetwork continued to upload new poops, focusing on a wider variety of TV shows than before. Chazlar left WTLNetwork to work on other projects in January 2011, and is currently working on a space based sitcom. The newest member of the team, Jay, joined the team on 5 February 2011. The history of WTLNetwork saw a dark day on 11 February 2011, when he found that seven of his poops had been blocked worldwide by HiT Entertainment. Despite filing disputes on the grounds of fair use, the seven videos were completely removed from YouTube on 16 February 2011 and a copyright strike put on the WTLNetwork account. WTLNetwork uploaded a video to the account ("The Death of WTLNetwork...?") which stated that WTLNetwork would stop making Thomas poops from this moment on. There was a space of two days before WTLNetwork's next video, "I Promise You Nothing", a poop of The Rottentrolls. This was followed fifteen days later by "It All Started Back In Second Grade...", a poop of Recess and (to date) WTLNetwork's only poop of an American television program. On 8 March 2011, a mere three days after his last poop, WTLNetwork surprised the YouTube poop community by uploading a new Thomas poop. There were a number of differences in this poop however; instead of focusing on one episode, the poop consisted of two episodes. The other major difference was that the episodes were from series 4 as opposed to series 1 or 2. This marked the second time that WTLNetwork had used an episode narrated by Michael Angelis, but WTLNetwork would rather not talk about that, although it did mark the first time that an Angelis-narrated episode had been featured on his main channel.
Closure[edit]
On 14 March 2011, HiT Entertainment removed the new Thomas poop. This caused another strike to be put on the account. After much deliberation, it was decided that the main channel would be closed down in order to prevent it from being suspended. In the words of Sam:
It was decided after the closure that WTLNetwork's operations would be moved to his alt account. The alt account was topped up with all the newest poops before Sam announced the disbandment of WTLNetwork on 16 March 2011. WTLNetwork was then replaced with The Poop Troupe, which features the same people as WTLNetwork, however on 13 May 2011, WTLNetwork was reborn as the children's television branch of The Poop Troupe. This means that all children's TV poops will still be WTLNetwork poops, but poops of movies and other material will be Poop Troupe poops. He then closed all of his alt accounts, along with The Poop Troupe sometime around March 2013. It is unknown if he will return.
