NBC is the National Broadcasting Company, and since its inception in 1926 has been the source of many cult aspects of YouTube Poop, including the Mama Luigi TV series and film, as well as rather unnotable series such as I Only Lived Twice.

NBC is often considered essential in the development of YouTube Poop. They are credited with making the first "official" poops, called Peacock Poops, featuring clips from NBC network shows. Some sources insist that these were the first color programs on television, appearing in 1956. The Peacock Poop series ran from 1956 until 1976, and in annual specials from 1977 until 1986, when NBC's new owners, General Electric, decided to get rid of the "unnecessary crap that is plaguing our screens. No wonder NBC is in last place. The peacock's dead, so thank you Fred." GE was referring to Fred Flintstone Donovan, who invented Peacock Poop.

Even after the Peacock Poop era ended and YouTube was established, NBC found itself again in a ruckus. Already one of the lower-ranking networks, they have had to struggle with several attempts to damage their good reputation. In 2006, NBC asked YouTube to take down hundreds of unauthorized video clips. However, they soon realized the potential of YouTube and decided to land a contract with them. Suckers.

NBC's alternate feed which is provided to affiliates but is never actually broadcast due to WeatherPlus and NBC's top-rated affiliates knowing better, includes crappily produced shows from a production company owned by the King of Hyrule. Crap. Literally.
