This video game franchise is considered by many people as one of the best run-&-gun shooters of all time. Infact, it is so good, people, such as myself and Screwattack, actually consider it as the only run-&-gun series that can actually compete with Contra.
The Story
Basically, it takes place in the near-future where a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler wants to take over the world, no matter the cost. Fortunately, two guys with unlimited bullets in their guns have made it their goal in order to stop him. As the story goes on, the Hitler reincarnation joins up with aliens from Mars (I'm not joking here.) and the two guys would gets more allies of their own. However, the aliens would end up betraying Hitler-reincarnate, try to take over the world themselves with their advanced machinery, and enslave the human race. Luckily, the Axis-like soldiers would gladly give up their lives in order to save the world and they end up beating the shit out of the aliens, and that's the end of the story...
