Seinfeld is a show about nothing. The show aired on NBC from July 5th, 1989 to May 14th, 1998, with 9 seasons. It was called one of the best sitcoms of all time and is still regarded today as one of the most influential TV shows of all time. The show was based often on Jerry Seinfeld living in his apartment block on Manhattan's Upper West Side. Jerry or one of his friends would get into some situations that would change the outcome of the day for his friends, sometimes without each other knowing who did it. This humor was well-perceived by audiences who enjoyed it, which brought Seinfeld back twice, for its 6th season, and then again for its 9th season. People regard it as one of the best shows ever. The show was originally ran by NBC but Fox picked up the rights to air it after the series ended.
