A Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon that is often considered very mediocre, according to many people, Sonic Underground had some of the same storyline as SatAM. This is due to that a couple of the writers of that show were involved on this. Robotnik takes over Mobius also hiring Sleet and Dingo which then someone has to stop him. The queen has to give up her children because she fears they may be captured by Robotnik. She gives them to 3 other people, and runs off, hiding.

This was the only one of the three Sonic cartoons produced by DiC to feature Knuckles, however doesn't feature Tails for some strange reason.
