Description[edit]

{{#ev:youtube|2NWQCpLmMvk|320}}One of this show's finest moments

The show is about a boy genuis named Dexter, who has a secret lab behind a bookcase in his bedroom (although there are many ways to enter it, some of which are never shown in the cartoon while it was still airing). His sister, Dee-Dee, often comes in to ruin his experiments, whilest Dexter himself tries to keep his lab a secret from his Mother and Father. His arch nemesis, Mandark, also has a lab, which clearly isnt secret. Since their first meeting, it has always been Mandark's goal to either destroy or to take control of Dexter's Lab.

Further Information[edit]

  • The show, sadly, never got an official finale.
  • One of the two specials titled "Dexter's Rude Removal" was only shown at select animation conventions in 1998 and never aired on Cartoon Network due to the constant cursing by Dexter's evil clones. The episode has never been seen since then and was rumored to not exist anymore, until 2013 when it was reported that Adult Swim would be confirmed to airing it live online. You can watch this rare special either here or here, with an uncut version by MrSimonAlt [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hLU4gavXYJE here (Ironically, MrSimon's version got removed).
